Woman Finally Goes to Jail

LIBERTY, November 30, 2017 - On November 19, 2017, a subject called the police department several times advising Officers that she was going to turn herself in. After telling the subject that she was not wanted several times the Officer then met with the subject in the parking lot of a business in the 2100 block of Hwy 146 Bypass in Liberty.
The subject then approached the Officer and then told him that she wanted to go to jail. The Officer then told the subject that she had not committed a crime and he could not take her for nothing.

The subject then removed four small plastic bags from her arm band. The Officer then

noticed that one of the bags contained a white crystal like substance and two of the others contained unknown substances. In a larger bag were straws and partially burnt marijuana cigarettes. The Officer then arrested the subject for the possession of the crystal like substance. The driver of the vehicle was also arrested for an outstanding warrant. The two were then transported to the Liberty County Jail.

The Officer then weighed the crystal like substance and observed a weight of 1.2G with packaging. The white crystal like substance also field tested positive for methamphetamine.
