Food Handler Certification Classes

LIBERTY, April 6, 2017 - Texas Department of State Health Services accredited food handlers program is now being offered in Liberty County!

This class is recommended for all food service employees to help promote the service of safe food. The class is a basic overview of food safety principles and practices that are necessary to ensure you serve safe food at your establishment. Upon completion of this course you will receive a Food Handlers card that is valid for 2 years. The 2 hour Food Handlers Certification Classes are scheduled for April 12, 2017 at the Cleveland Civic Center located at 210 Peach Ave in Cleveland from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and on May 10, 2017 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office located at 501 Palmer Ave. in Liberty from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Please call Alexis Cordova at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office at 936-334-3230 if you are interested in attending or if you plan on sending any employees, as I need to prepare enough materials. The cost of the course is $20 and can be paid the day of the class. If your employer needs an invoice arrangements can be made prior to course.
