Woman Passed Out at Convenience Store

LIBERTY, October 25, 2017 - On October 2, 2017, Officers with the Liberty Police Department were called to a local gas station where a Subject was passed out behind the wheel.
On arrival the Officer observed a blue car parked at the pump with a female in the driver seat. A TX ID card then identified the subject as Sudie Louise Durden age 45 of Baytown.

As the Officer spoke to the driver he noticed that she appeared to be extremely lethargic and mumbled. The Officer then looked by the driver's feet and observed what he knows to be a synthetic marijuana cigarette. The driver was then removed from the vehicle and the cigarette was then recovered.

The driver was then read her constitutional rights and asked what the substance was. The driver admitted to the substance being synthetic marijuana. Due to the driver not having the use of her normal faculties the driver was deemed a danger to herself and others if left alone. Durden was then arrested for possession and public intoxication.
