LIBERTY, November 28, 2017 - The debris removal process continues in Liberty County and now is the time for residents living in the unincorporated areas of the county and in the Cities of Devers and Plum Grove ( both cities signed inter-local agreements requesting assistance ) to make certain they have placed all eligible storm generated debris, on the public right of way.
Residents must have eligible debris placed on the right of way no later than MONDAY DECEMBER 4th .
Residents of the unincorporated areas of Liberty County and those in Devers and Plum Grove are ask to contact the Liberty County Office of Emergency Management at 936-334-3219 if they have eligible debris that needs to be picked up. Those living in other incorporated cities should contact their city officials if they have storm generated debris that needs to be removed.
ALL REMAINING STORM GENERATED DEBRIS MUST BE PLACED ON THE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY NO LATER THAN MONDAY DECEMBER 4TH. RESIDENTS ARE ASK TO CONTACT THE LIBERTY COUNTY OFFICE OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AT 936-334-3219 IN ORDER TO MAKE CERTAIN WE ARE AWARE THAT YOU HAVE DEBRIS TO BE REMOVED.
THIS WILL BE THE FINAL OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE ELIGIBLE STORM GENERATED DEBRIS REMOVED BY COUNTY CONTRACTORS.
