Man Steels Tools from Tire Shop

LIBERTY, May 3, 2017 - On April 15, 2017 an Officer was dispatched to a local tire shop in reference to a theft. An employee reported an impact wrench missing from behind the shop.

After reviewing video surveillance a B/M was seen in the area acting suspicious. The subject hid what appeared to be a tool in his pants and left the business.

An employee was able to identify the man as Joseph Arthur Alridge age 33 of Raywood.

The man later contacted the store owner and discussed the incident. The tool was returned. The complainant proceeded with charges.

Alridge was arrested on April 20, 2017 and placed in the Liberty County Jail. His bond was set at $500 dollars.
